Heritage Mississauga is hosting its first Volunteer Fair on March 15th from 9am – 5pm and on Tuesday March 23rd from 9am – 9pm. The Fair will be held at our offices at the Robinson-Adamson House “The Grange” 1921 Dundas St. W.
Heritage Mississauga has many tasks that could use a volunteer like you. Do you like to do research? Be part of the administrative support of office work? Writing for our Newsletter on Mississauga’s rich history? What about event planning and event assistance in the special events that we host and participate in? Do you like to paint, design, create?
There are many benefits of volunteering with Heritage Mississauga. High school students fulfill their community obligations of 40 hours with us, and a lot of them continue on collecting more hours than required. This is also a great way to receive practical resume experience with valuable networking opportunities. You become an important part of the heritage community and have the opportunity to share your ideas and learn from others. Along the way you learn more about this rich city of Mississauga. We have a friendly environment. And yes, we do have fun!
