Snider's Corners

Located around the intersection of Ninth Line and Burnhamthorpe Road, Snider’s Corners was named after an early settling family. The crossroads community was once home to a Wesleyan Methodist Church, a one-room schoolhouse, and a community hall. Snider’s Corners was well-known for its lively dances and social gatherings. Little remains of Snider’s Corners today.
