Featuring a new book launch at 4pm: “Journey to the Past: The Lost Villages of Mississauga” & 6th Annual Carolling at The Grange evening beginning at 5pm.
Join us for an open house beginning at 3pm, featuring an art exhibit from ALFEW (Artists Looking For Empty Walls), followed by Heritage Mississauga’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations, cake, and the dedication of our Distinguished Patrons Wall.
At 4pm we will officially launch our newest book, Journey to the Past: The Lost Villages of Mississauga. This book features 23 chapters covering some of the forgotten places in the City of Mississauga, such as Burnhamthorpe, Derry West, Elmbank, Lisgar, Pucky Huddle, Sheridan and Summerville, amongst many others.
From 5-8pm, join us around the roaring outdoor fire for our 6th Annual Carolling at The Grange evening and enjoy Christmas Carols and hot chocolate. Non-perishable food donations are being collected for the Deacon’s Cupboard at St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
