Heritage Lecture and Luncheon

“Thoughts on Mississauga’s Heritage”

Heritage Mississauga invites you to lunch with Mayor Hazel McCallion in support of Heritage Mississauga’s Heritage Resource Centre.

First elected Mayor of Mississauga in November of 1978, Hazel McCallion is one of Canada’s longest serving elected leaders.  She is recognized the world over for her vibrant, outspoken style of no-nonsense politics and her dedication to Mississauga’s success.

During her 33 years in office, the City of Mississauga has grown from farm fields to Canada’s 6th largest city. At 90 years of age, she is still at the helm guiding this city’s vision to be, “a place where people choose to be”.

Join us as our Mayor shares her thoughts on Mississauga’s heritage, its importance, and the challenges we face for the future.
